Dr. Qun Li, O.M.D., Master of Acupuncture
Dr. Qun Li was graduated from a traditional Chinese medical school where she spent five years in traditional Chinese medicine (doctor of oriental medicine) and three years in Acupuncture (master degree of acupuncture). After graduation, she worked as a attending physician for five years in Department of Acupuncture, Jinan University School of Medicine, Guangzhou, China.
Dr. Li has published several research papers. Her field of specialty was in treating sciatica. One of her papers, An Observation on the Therapeutic Effect of Acupuncture in Treatment of Sciatica, was published in Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine (9:90-92, 1989). She is also a co-author of the book, Chinese Diet Therapy, which was published in 1993 by Hong Kong Chinese Publishing House.
Since 1993, Dr. Li has practiced acupuncture in the US, first in the Back Treatment Center, Rochester, MN, and in United Medical Clinic, St. Louis, MO. Dr. Li is a nationally certified acupuncturist and Chinese herbologist. She specializes in acupuncture and herbal medicine. Neurological and muscular disorders: various kinds of pain syndromes such as headaches, neck pain, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, low back pain, sciatica, also facial palsy, pareses following a stroke.
Emotional and psychological: stress, anxiety, neurosis, insomnia, and depression
Other experienced areas: addictions and weight loss; gastrointestinal disorders such as gastritis, hyperacidity, constipation, diarrhea; urinary, menstrual and reproductive problems.
